We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Manager to join our Group Finance team.

This role is responsible for owning and leading the delivery, accuracy and continuous improvement of Group FP&A outputs, including monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis.

The FP&A Manager will act as the day‑to‑day lead for Group FP&A, providing structure, judgement and quality control across processes, while partnering closely with the Director of FP&A on senior stakeholder support, strategic initiatives and PE‑related requirements.

This role carries clear accountability for end‑to‑end delivery and for supervising and developing other FP&A team members.

Candidate Profile

Key Responsibilities:

Group reporting & month‑end ownership
  • Own the end‑to‑end delivery of Group monthly management reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness.
  • Take full responsibility for key month‑end FP&A processes, including:
  • Variance analysis
  • Systems updates and validations
  • Data integrity and reconciliation checks
  • Ensure consistent application of reporting standards, assumptions and KPI definitions across the Group.
  • Lead the Group forecasting and budgeting processes, including timetable management and consolidation.
  • Challenge inputs and assumptions from across the business to ensure forecasts are robust and credible.
  • Ensure P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow and supplementary data are fully integrated and understood.
Analysis & insight
  • Provide clear, insightful analysis of financial performance, trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Translate complex financial data into concise, decision‑focused commentary for senior management.
Systems & process leadership
  • Own the FP&A systems landscape from a functional perspective, working closely with systems specialists.
  • Lead the development, maintenance and optimisation of Group planning, forecasting and consolidation tools (TM1 / Cognos).
  • Ensure systems structures accurately reflect the Group’s operating and legal structure.
  • Drive automation, standardisation and continuous improvement of FP&A processes.
Team leadership & development
  • Line manage and supervise FP&A Analyst(s) and interns as applicable.
  • Set clear expectations for quality, ownership and deadlines.
  • Review and sign off FP&A outputs prior to Director review.
  • Coach and develop team members to build technical capability and commercial judgement.
Candidate profile Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Experience
  • 5–8+ years’ experience in FP&A, Group Finance, Transaction Services or similar.
  • Proven experience owning and leading group reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Experience working in PE‑backed and/or highly acquisitive environments.
  • Experience managing and reviewing the work of other FP&A professionals.
  • Demonstrated experience working with a large number of subsidiaries, including data collection, validation and challenge.
  • Strong experience in multi‑currency, multi‑entity environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with TM1 and Cognos consolidation.
  • Proven experience maintaining and developing group consolidation and planning systems.
  • Advanced financial modelling capability across P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow.
Technical skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems, controls and data governance.
