Accounts Assistant

£26k PA
Full time/Permanent based in Meridian Business Park, Leicester, LE19 1WA

Reporting to the Finance Manager in this office-based role you will assist with daily finance requirements ensuring the company’s high service level is maintained.

• Credit control (200 customers) in a busy environment working to targeted monthly KPIs
• Building relationships with key customers to ensure the inflow of cash is in line with the weekly cash flow forecast
• Data input on Sage 200 and monthly statement reconciliations
• Raising daily invoices and credit notes for a group of 3 companies
• Booking in works orders and daily order checks against credit limits (every other week)
• Provide cover for the sales ledger and purchase ledger
• Communicate effectively with all internal departments and external stakeholders
• Filing and other ad hoc finance duties

• You should demonstrate excellent computer skills, in Outlook, Word, and Excel
• A clear telephone manner is essential
• Knowledge of Sage is desirable, although training will be given
• Have a proactive approach and be a team player
