How you’ll power our business as a Credit Controller
As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for timely collection of overdue debts whilst maintaining a good level of customer service. This role requires accurate information to be recorded on customer accounts and negotiate arrangements where needed.
What you will be doing- Reduce overdue debts via a portfolio of customer accounts, to agreed targets
- Release orders in line with credit policy
- Place customers on stop where necessary and remove stops as required
- Review credit limits and apply for increased limits
- Process payments on customers’ accounts
- Review and set up customer Direct Debits
- Sound knowledge of debt collection, including a variety of techniques
- Able to negotiate with customers to bring a satisfactory outcome in difficult circumstances
