5 years’ experience of being a Financial Adviser / Financial Planner and looking for a new opportunity?

The business we’re recruiting for has been going for nearly 40 years and unlike some larger firms where clients interact with several departments, this firm focuses on building lasting relationships with a dedicated adviser.

Day to day, you’ll deliver regulated advice across pensions, investments, estate planning and wealth management.

They have a generous bonus structure and within the first year your OTE could be around £100,000…

In terms of your background, you’ll need to have at least 5 years’ experience in advising clients on pensions, investments, retirement and estate planning as well as Chartered status (CII) or very close to achieving it.

Well, they’ve navigated through multiple market cycles…The 1980s market boom and crash, the 2008 financial crisis and Covid.

• Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals and recommending suitable, tailored solutions.
• Proactively use cashflow modelling software to present and explain planning outcomes in a clear, client-friendly way.
• Manage your own client portfolio, including regular reviews, ongoing advice and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Actively pursue new business opportunities, including referrals from existing clients and networking.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of market developments, legislation, and FCA/Openwork guidance.
