NJR Recruitment is working with a highly regarded, Independent Financial Planning firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Paraplanner who wants to develop their technical career within a supportive environment, with genuine support towards further qualifications, including Chartered status.
Working closely with Financial Advisers, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial planning solutions, undertaking detailed research and analysis, and producing accurate and compliant suitability reports.

The Role
As a Paraplanner, you will provide detailed technical and research support to Financial Advisers throughout the advice process.
You will be responsible for researching financial products and investments, analysing client information, preparing cashflow models and producing high-quality suitability reports that support tailored financial planning recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare clear, comprehensive and compliant suitability reports
- Conduct detailed research across financial products, investments and funds
- Analyse client information and produce cashflow models
- Provide technical support to Financial Advisers throughout the advice process
- Maintain accurate client records in line with FCA requirements
- Work closely with Advisers and Administrators to ensure a smooth and efficient client journey
- Keep up to date with developments in pensions, investments and tax legislation
About You
We're looking for an experienced Paraplanner with:
- 2+ years' experience within a Paraplanning or technical support role
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, or currently working towards this
- Good technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection and IHT planning
- Strong analytical and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to manage your own workload and work to deadlines
- A proactive, professional and client-focused approach
- A genuine interest in developing your technical knowledge and progressing your career
