Senior Financial Planning Administrator

Leicester

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000

Full-Time Permanent Office-Based

NJR Recruitment is delighted to be working with a boutique and growing Financial Planning business to recruit an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to join their team based in the Leicester area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous Financial Planning administration experience who is looking for a varied role with exposure to advisers, providers, clients and a wide range of financial planning activities.

You'll play a key role in supporting the Advisers and ensuring the smooth running of the firm's day-to-day administration, with the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge and gain further exposure to financial planning.

" Salary of £28,000 - £35,000, depending on experience.

" Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm.

The Role

Working as part of the wider support team, you'll provide comprehensive administrative assistance to Financial Advisers, helping to ensure client cases are progressed efficiently and all necessary information is available ahead of client meetings and annual reviews.

Key Responsibilities

" Answer incoming telephone calls and deal with enquiries professionally.

" Liaise with providers and proactively chase outstanding information.

" Keep FCA Daybooks and adviser records up to date.

" Process Letters of Authority and obtain relevant policy information.

" Sort, organise and maintain client documentation following adviser meetings.

" Process and review information received from providers.

" Produce Defaqto risk reports.

" Prepare Financial Express Analytics fund research.

" Produce Cash Calc cashflow modelling reports.

" Prepare documentation for annual client reviews, including:

o Portfolio valuations.

o Fund information and performance data.

o Cashflow reports where required.

" Submit new business through the firm's systems.

" Complete straightforward online applications and submissions.

" Support Advisers with client meeting preparation.

" Attend client meetings alongside Advisers where required.

" Manage outgoing post and general office administration.

" Provide additional administrative support across the business as required.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

" Previous experience within Financial Services administration, ideally within an IFA or Financial Planning environment.

" Strong organisational and time management skills.

" Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

" Confident written and verbal communication skills.

" The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

" A professional and client-focused approach.

" Good IT skills and confidence learning new systems.

" A proactive approach to chasing outstanding information and progressing cases.

" The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.

Experience with systems such as Cash Calc, Defaqto and Financial Express Analytics would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
