Part-Time Finance Assistant – Temporary Contract

Up to £13.50 per hour We are looking for an organised and proactive Finance Assistant to join our team in Leicester on a part-time, temporary contract until December. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of the finance function and help ensure financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. Key responsibilities Processing and accurately recording supplier invoices Preparing supplier payment runs Raising and issuing customer invoices Carrying out credit control and following up on outstanding payments Completing bank reconciliations Responding to supplier and customer account queries Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records Undertaking ad hoc finance duties as required About you The successful candidate will:
Have previous experience in a finance, accounts or administrative role Be numerate, accurate and attentive to detail Have good organisational and time-management skills Be confident communicating with suppliers, customers and colleagues Be comfortable using Microsoft Excel and accounting software Be able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Work well independently and as part of a team Handle confidential information professionally This role would suit someone who can quickly become an effective member of the team and provide reliable finance support throughout the temporary contract.
