Description:

Full Time / 37 Hours Per Week / Permanent. Play a key role in managing and reducing anti-social behaviour across Leicester City Council's housing areas. This is a full-time, permanent position based in the City Centre with work from various locations and some hours outside normal office times, including evenings and weekends. Appointment to this role will be subject to Non-Police Personnel Vetting to Level 2.

What you’ll be doing
  • Respond to reports of anti-social behaviour on estates and housing areas.
  • Engage with victims, complainants, perpetrators, and internal and external partners to manage the response.
  • Use an innovative and pro-active approach to manage and resolve a varied caseload of anti-social behaviour cases.
  • Identify risk and recognise when cases require more intensive management or legal action.
What you’ll need
  • Knowledge of anti-social behaviour legislation and locally agreed approaches to tackling it.
  • Good knowledge of council services and other organisations and how they could impact/address anti-social behaviour issues.
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills; the ability to prepare and manage evidence, compose official enforcement letters, and prepare acceptable behaviour contracts.
  • Proficient report writer with the ability to create legal bundles and defend decisions under legal scrutiny.
  • Organised with the ability to identify risk and regularly re-prioritise cases and duties.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to engage with challenging and hard-to-reach individuals.
