Information Governance Officer

Our client, based in Leicester, is currently recruiting for an Information Governance Officer on a 3-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

* Dealing with sensitive information and high-profile matters, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders

* Overseeing the completion of FOI Requests, SARs, and EIRs, ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines

* Coordinate and support the handling of personal data breaches, including logging, information gathering, and progressing actions

* Handling complaints relating to information governance, applying relevant exemptions and coordinating cross-departmental responses

Experience required:

* Experience required in Local Government

* Experience dealing with FOI, SARs and EIRs
