Working as a Drugs Expert
, you’ll prepare, review and deliver impartial specialist advice to investigators relating to drug evidence and offences.
You’ll provide drug expert witness evidence and statements supporting investigators within serious and organised crime.
This is a part-time position, working 22.2 hours per week.
You’ll be:- Preparing, reviewing and delivering independent expert evidence to the courts.
- Attending crime scenes to give specialist advise on cannabis farms and chemical/pharmaceutical sites.
- Analysing and reviewing drugs related investigations providing instruction and feedback at all levels.
- Comprehensive knowledge of controlled drugs with complex investigation experience.
- Excellent communication skills including managing relationships.
- Experience giving impartial evidence in court and influencing investigation decisions.
