Position: Senior Physiotherapist (Bank)

Senior Physiotherapist – Leicester Hospital | Physiotherapy | Bank | Part Time | Up to £20 per hour depending on experience

Main duties of the job

Provide evidence‑based care that is safe, effective, caring, well‑led and responsive to patient needs. Ensure ongoing monitoring of the standard of treatment. Comply with all professional, clinical and governance standards and participate in clinical audit and quality assurance.

About us

Leicester Hospital, founded in 1969, is one of the leading providers of private healthcare in Leicestershire. The hospital offers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient treatments and services, using the best available technologies, including a static MRI, digital X‑ray and mammography units. It has 28 ensuite beds, 2 laminar flow theatres, an endoscopy suite, a minor treatment room and 14 consulting rooms.

The hospital is rated ‘Good’ by the CQC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high quality, effective clinical care to patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal and post‑operative conditions.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient health and recovery.
  • Monitor and evaluate the standard of treatment provided.
  • Participate in clinical audit, quality assurance processes and stay compliant with governance standards.
  • Provide clinical support and coaching to junior staff as required.
Qualifications
  • BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Evidence of further professional training and ongoing CPD.
  • Excellent clinical reasoning and rehabilitation skills.
Experience
  • Proven experience in delivering physiotherapy services for musculoskeletal and post‑operative cases.
  • Strong communication skills, confident in engaging with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Competent IT skills, organisational ability and capacity to prioritise a varied workload.
