Joinour dynamic Treatment Room team and play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in the heart of the Warrington community. As a Band 5 Nurse, you'll provide a wide range of clinical interventions; ensuring patients receive timely, safe, and effective treatment. You’ll work closely with colleagues across primary and community care, helping to reduce pressures on GPs and hospitals while making a real difference to patients lives everyday.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same, offering opportunities to develop your clinical skills in a supportive and professional environment.
Provide evidence-based nursing care within Treatment Rooms, including wound management, dressings, sutures, and post-operative care.
Carry out clinical assessments, triage, and escalation to senior staff or other services as appropriate.
Maintain accurate, timely patient records in line with professional and organisational standards.
Promote infection prevention and control, ensuring safe use of equipment and adherence to policies.
Provide health promotion, advice, and education to patients and carers to encourage self-care and independence.
Work collaboratively with GPs, community nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Supervise and support junior staff, students, and healthcare assistants as required.
Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives within the Treatment Room service.

Job responsibilitiesBridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust plan to integrate and form a new organisation on the 1st April 2026. As such, if your start date is on or after 1st April 2026, you will be employed by the newly formed organisation. Should you join Bridgewater prior to this date, your employment will automatically transfer into the new organisation.

Job Purpose:
The post holder actively supports the Treatment Room Service by undertaking responsibility for delegated patients within a clinical setting.
Undertakes the assessment, planning and evaluation of patient care needs.
Liaises with the Treatment Room Coordinator and Treatment Room Team Leader to ensure information sharing in relation to patient care / changes to care plan and the continuity of care and reviewing of complex care packages.
Mentoring, Teaching and Assessing.
Liaises with all health care professionals and other agencies to ensure effective service delivery.
