To support and assist the Medical Education Manager, Clinical Education Leads, Tutors and Directors of Medical Education in assuring high quality delivery of post‑graduate and undergraduate medical education and clinical teaching.

To be responsible as a member of the medical education team for the administration and delivery of clinical teaching, education and examinations for medical students and trainees, with responsibility for specific areas and work streams e.g. psychiatry, elderly care or paediatrics.

Providing a central support function for all communication from key stakeholders including the Medical School, students and trainees in relation to their education and training.

The role is responsible for the administration, coordination, and quality assurance of medical and interprofessional education within the Trust.

  • Liaising with trainers and external education partners
  • Ensuring high standards of educational delivery

Workplace and Policies

We will consider requests to work alternative hours or varied working patterns in line with our flexible working policy. For all substantive roles, new staff (excluding medical staff) are appointed subject to a 6‑month probationary period (see Probation Policy). All jobs will require permission to work in the UK.

For all jobs the cost of any DBS disclosure required will be met by the individual. This will be deducted from salary once started.
