Responsibilities
  • Learn practical healthcare skills and step into the NHS.
  • Be the friendly face that greets donors, supports them through the donation process, and makes sure they leave feeling good about their experience.
  • Check donors in on our systems and ensure they are comfortable during and after their donation, delivering excellent care every step of the way.
  • Keep accurate records, handle blood products safely, and ensure everything is set up for a smooth session.
  • Operate our equipment lorry (full training will be provided).

Working Hours

The role involves working a variety of hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays but no night shifts! You will be working up to 9 shifts per fortnight (75 hours per fortnight). Shifts will be 9.5‑hour days and worked between the approximate hours of 08:30am–21:30pm.
