Personal Assistant Support Worker - Adult Supported Living

About The Role

We’re looking for independent, reliable and compassionate Support Workers to join our Swanton Community Services Team as a Personal Assistant Support Worker
. This role involves home visits and community-based support across the Hertfordshire area, helping adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs live meaningful, independent lives.

It is essential applicants for this role hold a full UK driving licence.

You’ll work to set shift patterns, giving you structure while still enjoying the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours.

• Provide person-centered support during home visits across Hertfordshire
• Promote independence and encourage individuals to achieve personal goals
• Ensure safety and wellbeing, reporting any changes in circumstances
• Support people to engage in their local community - from shopping trips to events
• Communicate with compassion, using each person’s preferred methods
• Work confidently and independently while being part of a supportive wider team

• A driver with access to a vehicle (essential for outreach work)
• Someone independent, reliable and comfortable working alone
• A caring, patient and positive approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic IT skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality support
• Willingness to work towards a Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care
