Spire Leicester Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mammographer to join our Imaging team on a bank basis.

The Role

Working within our busy and well-equipped Imaging Department you will provide high-quality mammography services and exceptional patient care ensuring a safe supportive and positive experience for every patient.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Deliver specialist mammography examinations to a high clinical standard.
• Produce high-quality mammographic images to support accurate diagnosis.
• Maintain excellent patient care and communication throughout the patient journey.
• Work collaboratively with radiographers radiologists and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and record keeping.
• Adhere to departmental policies professional standards and radiation safety regulations.

Who were looking for:

• HCPC registered Radiographer.
• UK Mammography Accreditation qualification.
• Previous experience working in mammography.
• Strong clinical judgement and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with in the independent healthcare sector is desirable but not essential.
