Spire Leicester Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mammographer to join our Imaging team on a bank basis.
The Role
Working within our busy and well-equipped Imaging Department you will provide high-quality mammography services and exceptional patient care ensuring a safe supportive and positive experience for every patient.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Deliver specialist mammography examinations to a high clinical standard.
- Produce high-quality mammographic images to support accurate diagnosis.
- Maintain excellent patient care and communication throughout the patient journey.
- Work collaboratively with radiographers radiologists and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation and record keeping.
- Adhere to departmental policies professional standards and radiation safety regulations.
Who were looking for:
- HCPC registered Radiographer.
- UK Mammography Accreditation qualification.
- Previous experience working in mammography.
- Strong clinical judgement and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with in the independent healthcare sector is desirable but not essential.
