Spire Leicester Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Radiographer to join our Imaging team on a bank basis.

The Role

Working within our busy Imaging department you will provide a high standard of diagnostic imaging and patient care ensuring a safe and positive experience for patients throughout their journey.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality imaging examinations in line with departmental protocols
• Assess plan and deliver safe effective patient care
• Exercise sound clinical judgement across a varied and changing caseload
• Explain procedures and any associated risks to patients
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to departmental policies and procedures
• Support the ongoing development and improvement of the Imaging service
• Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team

Who were looking for:

• HCPC registered Radiographer
• Recent experience within a diagnostic imaging department
• Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Experience with in the independent healthcare sector is desirable
