An opportunity for a Sonographer to join our Diagnostics Team in Leicester!
- Contract – Bank
- Location – Newfield House, Vicarage Lane, Blackpool, Lancashire, FY4 4EW
- Salary – £28.48 to £32.38 an hour Depending on experience
As a Sonographer, you will provide a high-quality non-obstetric ultrasound service within community settings, carrying out a range of specialised ultrasound examinations and producing accurate, timely reports. You will use your expert clinical knowledge to identify and respond appropriately to significant findings, ensuring patients receive safe and effective care throughout their diagnostic journey.
Working closely with the Lead Sonographer, Consultant Radiologists and wider healthcare teams, you will help maintain high clinical standards and support the ongoing development of the service. The role also involves building strong relationships with host practices and secondary care clinicians, contributing to staff training where appropriate, and keeping up to date with professional guidance, best practice and service developments.
