Ayurvedic Therapist

Ayur Herbal Clinic is a specialist Ayurvedic clinic dedicated to supporting clients through traditional Ayurvedic therapies, personalised treatments and a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.

We are looking for a professional, caring and experienced Ayurvedic Therapist to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about Ayurveda and delivering high-quality, personalised treatments in a calm and welcoming clinical environment.

As an Ayurvedic Therapist, you will provide a range of traditional Ayurvedic treatments and therapies while ensuring each client receives a professional, safe and personalised experience.

• Delivering Ayurvedic treatments and therapies in accordance with the clinic's standards and treatment protocols.
• Providing therapies such as Abhyanga massage, Shirodhara, Kizhi/Potli therapies, Udvartana, head massage and other Ayurvedic treatments, depending on your training and experience.
• Preparing treatment rooms, oils, herbs and equipment before appointments.
• Discussing treatment requirements with clients and supporting individual treatment plans.
• Working alongside Ayurvedic practitioners and other members of the clinic team.
• Maintaining accurate client and treatment records.
• Ensuring treatment rooms and equipment are kept clean, hygienic and well organised.
• Following infection control, health and safety, safeguarding and confidentiality procedures.
• Providing excellent customer service and helping clients feel comfortable throughout their treatment.
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic when required.

We are looking for someone who is compassionate, professional and genuinely passionate about Ayurvedic therapy.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A recognised qualification in Ayurvedic Therapy, Ayurvedic Massage or a related discipline.
• Practical experience delivering Ayurvedic treatments.
• Good knowledge of traditional Ayurvedic therapies, oils and treatment techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional, caring and client-focused approach.
• Excellent standards of hygiene and attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
  
  A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Previous experience working within an Ayurvedic clinic, wellness centre, spa or healthcare environment would be advantageous.
