Job overviewWe are looking to appoint a trustworthy person who can work in a demanding and busy hospital environment, who must be flexible, hardworking and energetic.
Arnold Lodge is a Medium Secure Forensic Mental Health hospital. We provide care and treatment for individuals who have been admitted to us from other secure hospitals or from the prison service. Because of the specialised nature of the care, we are part of Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust although we are based in Leicester.
Main duties of the jobYou will be part of the Facilities Services providing a cleaning service to the wards and other departments. The role will also allow flexibility to cover general catering duties in the assistance of meal provision to the patients.
The post is for 37.5hrs per week over 5 days on a 2-week roster (including alternate weekends and bank holidays).

Detailed job description and main responsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be able to deliver a high standard of customer service whilst being able to meet compliance with Food Hygiene, Health & Safety regulations as well as high cleanliness standards. The ability to work effectively and flexibly, both alone and as part of a team, whilst maintaining a high standard of work will be essential.
