Job responsibilities- Delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care to patients across general ward and Emergency Department settings.
- Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care in line with Trust policies and NMC standards.
- Administering medication and carrying out clinical observations, escalating concerns promptly and appropriately.
- Maintaining accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
- Working collaboratively with doctors, healthcare assistants and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- To support the Trust in maintaining safe staffing levels across general and emergency care during long day and night shifts.
- To provide consistent, compassionate care that upholds patient dignity and wellbeing.
- To contribute to the smooth running of busy clinical areas, including the rapid assessment and prioritisation of patients in the Emergency Department.
- Current NMC PIN.
- Recent Emergency Department experience for ED shifts.
