Team Leader - Adult Supported Living

We are recruiting Team Leader to join a core team supporting people in the community who have moved on from more complex services.

Hours: Full-time,37.5 hours per week

• You will need to be adaptable,flexible, with excellent communication skills and able to work as part of ourteam. It is essential:
• To hold an SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
• Have previous experience supporting people with challenging behaviour and/or learning disabilities
• Hold a valid driving licence

Support is required 24 hours aday, 7 days a week.

• To provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower the people we support to achieve their goalsand aspirations, respecting everyone's individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans.
• Promote the health, well-being,physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.
• Facilitate social, educationalor work activities such as visiting family and friends, walks, shopping andother recreational activities of their choice.
• General housekeeping duties thatcan include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care.
• As part of the role, you willneed to be able to complete a range of records and documents.
