Leicester Tigers are back for the new Premiership season, and we’re looking for experienced and knowledgeable Wine Waiters to deliver exceptional service to our VIP guests in premium hospitality areas at Welford Road.

Due to match days taking place during university holiday periods, we are specifically seeking candidates who reside in Leicester or the surrounding area and can reliably commit to match days throughout the season.

• Providing knowledgeable and attentive wine service to VIP guests
• Serving a full range of drinks, including wines, spirits, beers, and soft drinks
• Confidently carrying trays of drinks in a busy hospitality environment
• Understanding, differentiating, and accurately presenting all drinks products
• Monitoring guest consumption and ensuring responsible alcohol service
• Maintaining wine presentation, glassware, and service areas
• Working closely with the bar, kitchen, and front-of-house teams
• Delivering a polished, personable, and memorable guest experience

• 18+ years old (alcohol service involved)
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Wine Waiter, Sommelier Assistant, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, beers, and soft drinks
• Confident in carrying trays of drinks and working in fast-paced environments
• Ability to clearly understand, differentiate, and explain drinks products to guests
• Professional, reliable, and guest-focused approach
• Based in Leicester or able to reliably commute for all home match days
• Available for home match days throughout the season

• £12.60/hour, paid weekly
