We are looking for an experienced Human Resource Officer.
As a key member of the HR team reporting to the HR Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in providing operational HR support across the business. You will use your knowledge and experience to provide HR administration services, acting as a first point of contact for enquiries.
The role is available on a hybrid basis working between our Leicester HQ and home.
What you will be doing- Administration of the recruitment processes via our recruitment portal and working closely with recruiting managers.
- Completing all documentation and processes relating to new employees and employees leaving NEBOSH.
- Managing the new starter and onboarding process to ensure the probation process runs efficiently.
- Maintaining and updating all employee record systems.
- Updating the NEBOSH organisation chart and contributing to the maintenance of intranet documents.
- Preparing letters and contractual documentation.
- Administering our family‑friendly processes.
- Preparing and running reports from the HRIS.
- Liaising with external advisers including payroll partners, pension and healthcare brokers to ensure that information is transferred and up to date.
- Maintaining, updating, and reporting from our benefits and recognition platform.
- Managing enquiries and monitoring the HR inboxes to ensure items are actioned.
- Supporting and managing the administration of, and adherence to, HR policies and procedures, advising on compliance.
- Contributing to the management and promotion of our range of benefits and recognition activities.
- Experience in a similar role, working across all aspects of HR.
- Well‑developed written and verbal skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of confidentiality.
- Organisational and administrative skills.
- Self‑motivated.
- Experience of working and liaising with a wide variety of internal and external people.
- Experience of working with Microsoft packages.
- Previous experience of supporting project work.
- Previous experience of using computerised HR systems.
£27,507.34 per annum.
