Overview

Our client is an international insurance business seeking a Senior Reward Manager to lead reward strategy and delivery across the UK and Europe.

Working within the People function, the role will lead the implementation and ongoing development of reward, remuneration and benefits programmes designed to support the attraction, retention and motivation of employees.

The successful candidate will manage a small team and work closely with senior business leaders, People Business Partners, wider People colleagues and global reward teams to ensure reward programmes are commercially aligned, consistently applied and compliant with relevant regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, review and development of reward programmes across the UK and Europe.
  • Translate reward strategy into clear policies, processes and operational plans.
  • Provide expert reward advice to senior stakeholders and colleagues across the People function.
  • Use market insight, data and external trends to inform recommendations and decision-making.
  • Support annual reward activity and remuneration governance.
  • Contribute to wider People projects with a reward remit.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory, employment and governance requirements.
  • Manage, coach and develop a small team.
  • Support team capability, performance and career development.
  • Help ensure reward frameworks remain commercially aligned, consistently applied and market competitive.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in reward, remuneration or total rewards.
  • Strong knowledge of reward principles, market trends, employment legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and presenting specialist information clearly.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience leading, coaching or developing others.
  • Experience using Workday.
  • Working knowledge of Solvency II regulations.
  • 30 days’ annual leave.
  • Option to purchase up to 2 additional days of annual leave.
  • Employer pension contribution of 10% of basic salary.

  • Ability to request up to 20 days per year working remotely from certain overseas locations.
