They’re now seeking an outstanding Chief Technology Officer to take full ownership of the technology function as the business enters its next phase of scale and platform evolution.

• Define and deliver a long‑term technology roadmap aligned to business growth
• Present technology strategy at board, group, and executive level
• Act as the custodian of architecture, security, infrastructure, and engineering best practice
• Champion innovation through cloud, automation, and resilient design principles

• Lead and develop cross‑functional engineering teams at all levels
• Establish modern engineering standards and a high‑performance culture
• Own recruitment, performance management, and succession planning

• Take responsibility for the full IT stack
• Ensure systems are secure, scalable, robust, and compliant with regulatory standards
• Drive strong software development practices, automation, testing, and operational excellence
• Oversee architectural governance and alignment across teams

• Own the IT P&L, including budgets, forecasting, and vendor negotiations
• Manage strategic suppliers and technology partnerships
• Collaborate closely with commercial, product, operations, and compliance stakeholders

• Proven experience at Head of Engineering, Director of Engineering, or CTO level
• Strong technical grounding in PHP, Linux, and AWS
• Demonstrable experience leading multi‑level engineering teams
• Board‑level communication skills with the gravitas to influence senior stakeholders
• Deep knowledge of architecture, cloud, infrastructure, and security
• Experience in fintech or regulated industries is highly advantageous
• A strategic thinker who can balance innovation with operational stability
