Cyber Moves is the embedded talent partner for a well-established digital forensics provider that is entering a major growth phase following the award of new long‑term prosecution and government contracts, we are looking to hire 10+ Digital Forensics Specialists.
These are hands‑on roles within an accredited forensic laboratory
, focused primarily on mobile device forensics
, with supporting computer examination and working on exciting and complex cases. The team is scaling deliberately, with people joining at a point where the capability is already well established and now being expanded, rather than stepping into a static or purely backlog‑driven environment.
The role
You’ll be working directly on live casework, handling multiple devices across concurrent investigations. The work is structured, evidence‑led, and delivered at pace, with a strong emphasis on quality, defensibility, and turnaround.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Forensic acquisition and analysis of mobile devices (iOS and Android)
- Supporting computer and digital media examinations where required
- Managing multiple live cases in parallel within agreed turnaround expectations
- Maintaining evidential integrity and chain of custody throughout
- Producing clear, court‑ready forensic reports
- Working on‑site within a secure, accredited lab environment

What they’re looking for
- Experience in digital forensics within an FSP, police, or government environment
- Experience with tools such as Cellebrite, XRY, Gray Key, Magnet AXIOM or similar is beneficial
- Comfort working across multiple cases simultaneously
- Solid understanding of evidential standards and reporting
- Eligibility for UK security clearance
- Ability to commute daily to the Leicester lab
- Flexible start and finish times within a structured working week
