Overview

We are looking for a visionary and technically accomplished Generative AI Solutions Architect to lead client-facing initiatives in the rapidly evolving fields of Generative and Agentic AI
. This is a high-impact, senior consulting role that combines deep technical expertise, solution architecture, and strategic client advisory. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including data science, engineering, and business stakeholders—to identify opportunities, design and architect robust AI solutions, and lead complex implementations that deliver measurable outcomes. In parallel, you will help shape EXL’s strategy and market presence as a leader in Generative and Agentic AI innovation.

Key duties

As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:

• Client Advisory & Solutioning: Engage directly with senior client stakeholders (including C-suite) to understand complex business challenges, identify opportunities for GenAI and Agentic AI, and define project scope.
• Workshop Facilitation: Design, lead, and facilitate high-impact client workshops and strategy sessions focused on identifying and prioritizing Generative and Agentic AI use cases and roadmap development.
• Technical Leadership & Architecture: Design, architect, and oversee the development and deployment of scalable, robust Generative AI and sophisticated Agentic AI systems (including multi-agent workflows) for client and internal projects.
• Project & Engagement Leadership: Lead large-scale, complex Generative AI and Agentic AI projects from strategic conception through successful deployment, managing cross-functional teams and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Define and track key success metrics (e.g., model performance, business impact, time-to-value) to ensure alignment with client goals.
• Change Management & AI Adoption: Support change management efforts to drive GenAI adoption within client environments, including training, stakeholder enablement, and operational integration.
• Technical Mentorship: Mentor and guide technical teams in best practices for advanced AI development, deployment, MLOps/LLMOps, and agentic system design.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating complex technical concepts and project progress.
• Innovation & IP Development: Contribute to internal GenAI innovation by building accelerators, reusable assets, and thought leadership materials (e.g., whitepapers, demos, prototypes, blogs).

  Evangelise Generative AI capabilities internally by collaborating with business development and delivery teams to support proposals, PoCs, and capability development.
• Quality & Best Practices: Ensure adherence to rigorous software engineering principles, Agile methodologies, and responsible AI practices throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Stay Current: Maintain deep expertise in the latest trends, research, tools, and technologies within Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Agentic AI paradigms.
• Practice Development: Support the expansion of the GenAI practice by defining delivery playbooks, reusable assets, talent strategies, and mentoring early-stage architects and consultants.
• Proposal Support: Act as a solution architect on strategic pursuits, helping develop high-quality proposals, estimates, and delivery approaches for complex GenAI and Agentic AI opportunities.
