From ensuring teaching spaces are AV‑ready, to resolving live technical issues and maintaining systems for events and lectures, this is a role where you can see the direct impact of your work.

You’ll have opportunities to support and influence AV design, configuration, and integration, while contributing to a responsive and supportive service. Whether it’s supporting large‑scale lectures, specialist teaching spaces, or collaborative meetings, your expertise will help provide a high‑quality experience for students and staff alike.

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • Experienced in setting up and maintaining AV equipment in event or teaching environments.
  • Comfortable diagnosing and resolving a range of AV and IT‑related issues.
  • Confident supporting users with varying levels of technical knowledge including providing internal support and training to other members of the AV team.
  • Flexible and self‑motivated, with excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service.

A strong understanding of AV systems that include projectors, displays, audio and control systems is essential. Prior experience in IT networks and AV/IT integration, including lecture capture, Microsoft Teams meetings, and PC configuration, is desirable.
