Cyber Security Analyst | Hybrid, 3 days in North Leicester | £55,000 – £60,000 + Bonus, private medical

We are working with a FTSE
100 CISO to build a first‑class security capability, including this Cyber Security Analyst role to enhance their security operations capability, working closely with a 24x7 third‑party SOC, giving you hands‑on exposure to real‑world threats, incidents, and vulnerability management.

The role will be a blend of some SOC work, combined with a range of other initiatives as the cyber team grows, including involvement in security engineering and tooling.

• Monitoring and triaging security alerts from internal systems and a third‑party SOC
• Supporting investigation, containment, and remediation of security incidents
• Working with SIEM, EDR, threat intelligence feeds, and vulnerability scanning tools
• Helping improve detection, response playbooks, and security documentation
• Collaborating with IT and infrastructure teams on vulnerability remediation
• Supporting continuous improvement across security operations and controls

• Established commercial cybersecurity and/or SOC experience.
• Hands‑on exposure to incident investigations and risk remediation
• Working knowledge of SIEM, endpoint security, and network fundamentals
• Understanding of common cyber threats and incident response principles
