We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team and assist in the implementation and maintenance of our network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining SD-WAN solutions, Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) systems, and managing the replacement of tills. Additionally, the role involves setting up and configuring routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure the security and efficiency of our network.
Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and manage SD-WAN solutions to optimize network performance, reliability, and security.
- Configure SD-WAN appliances and ensure seamless integration with existing network infrastructure.
- Coordinate the replacement of Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) systems and tills across the organization.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure minimal disruption during the replacement process.
- Install, configure, and test new EPOS systems and tills, ensuring they meet business needs and integrate with existing systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls to support network connectivity and security.
- Implement network policies and access controls to safeguard against unauthorized access and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve network issues reported by users or detected through monitoring systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis of network problems and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Proven experience in deploying and managing SD-WAN solutions.
- Hands-on experience with configuring Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) systems and tills.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).
- Experience with configuring and managing routers, switches, and firewalls from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks.
- Familiarity with network security best practices and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
