Claims Handler

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join a growing insurance brokerage in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior insurance broker claims experience who enjoys managing claims end-to-end and delivering outstanding service in the property and commercial insurance sector.

You will act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the claims process, ensuring claims are handled efficiently, fairly, and with a strong focus on achieving the best possible outcomes.

• Handle commercial and property claims from first notification through to settlement.
• Act as the main liaison between clients, insurers, loss adjusters, and other third parties.
• Provide clear guidance and support to clients during the claims process.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with FCA regulations.
• Monitor claim progress and proactively resolve issues or delays.
• Maintain strong working relationships with insurer claims teams.

• Previous experience as a Claims Handler within an insurance broker is essential.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and/or property insurance claims.
• Confident communicator with a client-focused approach.
• Well organised with strong attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple claims while maintaining high service standards.
