Our General Insurance division is a key driver of our growth. We are now hiring a Client Development Director to expand our strategic presence across the London insurance market.

The Opportunity

As Client Development Director, you will play a pivotal role in developing and securing long‑term, strategic relationships with key clients across the London insurance market - focusing on Lloyd’s Brokers, Syndicates, MGAs, and TPAs. Your success will directly influence the strength of our market partnerships and the growth of our Specialty London Market team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, target, and win new strategic client relationships across the London insurance market
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted partnerships with C‑suite, HR, and hiring leaders
  • Develop bespoke talent solutions aligned to clients’ hiring and growth strategies
  • Act as a brand ambassador for IDEX Consulting in the London Market
  • Collaborate with the London Market team to generate and convert high‑quality job flow
  • Achieve a personal revenue target which will also drive success for colleagues across the Division
  • Attend key industry events and build a profile across the Lloyd’s and London market landscape

  • A proven door opener / new business developer & networking professional with high levels of connectivity into the London (insurance) market
  • Deep understanding of the London insurance market, its dynamics, and major players
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering revenue and strategic wins
  • Natural relationship builder with excellent influencing, networking, and presentation skills
  • Self‑motivated and entrepreneurial, with a desire to work in a high‑trust, high‑performance culture
