Senior Commercial Account Handler; F2AFB

Referment is working with an established insurance-services business that supports independent commercial brokers. This office-based role sits within its broking team and focuses on helping broker partners place and service a broad range of UK commercial risks.

You will combine technical commercial-lines knowledge with responsive account handling, taking work from new-business and renewal preparation through insurer negotiation and day-to-day servicing. The position suits someone who enjoys varied cases and can work confidently with brokers, their clients and underwriters.

• Support broker partners with converting new business, servicing existing accounts and retaining renewals.
• Prepare renewal and new-business presentations and obtain quotations in line with the firm's broking approach.
• Build productive working relationships with broker partners and underwriters.
• Respond clearly and professionally to enquiries from brokers, clients and insurers.
• Keep work accurate and organised across the relevant broking systems.

• Proven experience in UK commercial insurance broking or underwriting.
• A strong working knowledge of commercial-lines products and placement.
• Good client-service and communication skills, with the confidence to work independently and collaboratively.
• Careful attention to detail and solid IT and system capability.

Experience using Acturis would be useful but is not essential.
