Salary: £41,784 - £48,150 per annum

Rushcliffe Borough Council provides high-quality services to more than 110,000 residents across a borough made up of vibrant towns and stunning villages. Our Council offices are located in West Bridgford, Nottingham in a purpose-built office and leisure centre facility, the Rushcliffe Arena.
Solicitor- The Role:
You will work within a small and friendly in-house legal team providing advice and support across the Council. Your key responsibilities will focus on non-contentious aspects of local government law. You will work closely with senior officers and clients across the Council on challenging and exciting projects, playing a pivotal role in helping implement decisions that shape the future of Rushcliffe Borough Council.
Solicitor- Key Responsibilities:
- Handle contract and procurement legal matters
- Manage planning and property related legal advice
- Provide counsel to senior officers and Council clients on strategic initiatives
- Contribute to Council decision-making through expert legal guidance
- You:
- Qualified and admitted solicitor or barrister with experience in legal practice
- Willingness to learn new areas of law and develop expertise in local government
- Keen interest in working in the public sector and making a positive impact
- Hybrid working
