Customs Logistics Lead

Mac Gregor Black is partnering with a Logistics business on the search for a Customs Logistics Lead. This is a perm role based in Leicester.

• Lead all customs import and export operations.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and international trade requirements.
• Manage customs declarations, commodity codes and import/export documentation.
• Oversee bonded warehouse and customs procedures.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers and internal stakeholders.
• Support customs audits and maintain accurate records.
• Drive continuous improvement across customs and logistics processes.

• Proven experience in Customs, International Trade or Logistics.
• Strong knowledge of UK customs regulations and customs compliance.
• Experience with in a warehouse, manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with bonded warehouses and customs systems is highly desirable.
