Location: Leicester City Centre

We're working with a well-established and fast-growing logistics provider within the UK, supporting businesses with end-to-end international freight solutions across sea, road, and air. With a strong global network and a reputation for delivering reliable, tailored transport services, this organisation continues to expand its UK operations and is now looking to appoint a Sea Import Coordinator to join its team.

The Role

As a Sea Freight Coordinator, you'll play a key role in managing import shipments from origin through to final delivery. Working closely with clients, carriers, and internal teams, you'll ensure smooth and efficient handling of consignments while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing end-to-end sea freight shipments (FCL & LCL)
  • Liaising with overseas agents, shipping lines, and customers
  • Handling customs documentation and compliance processes
  • Monitoring shipments and providing regular updates
  • Resolving queries and ensuring a high level of customer service
  • Supporting continuous improvement within operations
About You
  • Previous experience in sea freight imports (essential)
  • Good understanding of shipping documentation and customs processes
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset
