Permanent The Opportunity We are working with a specialist engineering business based in Leicester, looking for a Hydraulic Engineer / Technician to join their team. This is a hands-on role focused on the build, testing, commissioning, servicing and fault finding of hydraulic systems and equipment . The ideal candidate will have practical hydraulic experience and be confident reading hydraulic schematics.

Key Responsibilities Build and assemble hydraulic systems and equipment. Read and interpret hydraulic schematics. Test and commission hydraulic systems. Service and maintain hydraulic equipment. Carry out fault finding and diagnostics. Calibrate and adjust hydraulic systems. Install and replace hydraulic components including pumps, valves, cylinders and hoses. Carry out pressure and performance testing. Support repairs, modifications and system upgrades. Complete work to a high standard and follow health & safety procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience Previous experience working with hydraulic systems . Ability to read and understand hydraulic schematics . Hands-on experience building, testing or commissioning hydraulic equipment. Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance and fault finding. Good mechanical and practical engineering skills.
