CBC- Cleaner

Chesterfield Borough Council's Building Cleaning Team is recruiting a permanent part-time cleaner on up to 12.5 hours a week. The work covers public toilets, park pavilions, offices, housing communal areas and empty or tenanted homes, with tasks such as mopping stairs, scrubbing changing-room floors, cleaning windows and emptying bins. Weekend working is required, and the physically demanding work involves manual handling and frequent changes of site.

Candidates need the right to work in the UK, as no visa sponsorship is offered.

• Maintaining cleaning across a range of council sites
• Hand-sweeping and mopping stairs
• Cleaning windows and large areas of plate glass
• Using specialist cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers
• Scrubbing tiles and floors in changing areas

• Replenishing supplies, including hand soap and paper towels
