What you will be doingWe are looking for an experienced project manager to lead the delivery of electric vehicle infrastructure projects under framework agreements, with a strong focus on civil engineering and electrical connection works. The role involves managing multiple projects from start to finish and ensuring compliance with safety, quality and client requirements.
- Oversee all aspects of EV infrastructure projects including groundworks, ducting, foundations, electrical connections and associated civil works
- Develop project plans, manage resources, and coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships
- Report directly to the Operations Director on project progress, risks and financial performance
- Monitor project budgets, forecast costs and ensure financial targets are met
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, health and safety standards and environmental requirements
- Take ownership of health and safety management across all sites, including risk assessments, method statements and site audits
- Identify and mitigate project risks proactively
- Provide regular progress updates to senior management and clients
- Proven experience managing civils‑biased projects within EV infrastructure, utilities or highways
- Strong knowledge of groundworks, ducting and reinstatement
- Familiarity with EV charging technology and associated electrical/ICP works
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects under framework agreements
- Competence in MS Project or similar planning tools
- Degree or equivalent in civil engineering, construction management or a related field
- SMSTS or equivalent safety certification
- Full UK driving licence
