The role

* Lead and embed quality assurance processes across a mixed portfolio of CQC and Ofsted regulated services.​

* Complete audits, inspections and thematic reviews, turning findings into clear, workable action plans for service managers.​

* Support with regulatory responses, incidents, complaints and safeguarding, helping services respond confidently and learn, not blame.​
What you will be doing

* Setting and refining QA policies and procedures that keep people safe and services inspection‑ready.​

* Coaching, mentoring and supporting managers and teams, promoting person‑centred practice and robust care planning.​

* Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external regulators, always championing continuous improvement and best practice.​
About you

* Level 5 Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and at least 5 years’ experience in health or social care settings.​

* Strong working knowledge of UK regulation and compliance, with experience in audits, policy development and delivering training.​

* Empathetic, resilient and collaborative, with the confidence to lead change, manage competing priorities and model a no‑blame, learning culture.
Package and travel

* Salary £50,000–£60,000 depending on experience, plus essential car user allowance.​

* 28 days annual leave including bank holidays, plus employee assistance scheme and wider benefits.​

* Midlands‑based role with regular nationwide travel across the organisation’s portfolio of services.​
