Registered Manager

We are seeking an experienced and committed Registered Manager to lead a well-established 2-bed EBD children’s home in Leicester. The home currently supports two settled young people and has a Deputy Manager already in post, providing additional leadership support. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, child-centred leader who understands the regulatory expectations of managing an EBD provision and is confident in driving standards, stability and positive outcomes.

The Role:

Overall leadership and day-to-day management of the home Ensuring full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations & Quality Standards Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people Leading, developing and supporting the staff team Maintaining strong relationships with local authorities and professionals Preparing for and managing Ofsted inspections Requirements:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (completed or in progress) Experience managing or deputising within an EBD children’s home Strong knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory frameworks Proven ability to achieve positive Ofsted outcomes Clear leadership and team development skills What’s On
