Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will lead cross‑functional project teams in delivering custom development solutions or managing the maintenance and support of applications. You will be accountable for ensuring that the project is completed within the specified scope, cost, and timeline, while meeting the business requirements and contractual obligations.
- Manage Project Plans:
Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements to ensure effective resource allocation and project plan execution. - Lead Cross‑Functional Teams:
Lead cross‑functional project teams, including IBM, client employees, and 3rd‑party vendors, to deliver custom development solutions or manage application maintenance and support. - Establish Communication Plans:
Establish an effective communication plan to deliver regular project status updates to stakeholders and ensure successful project outcomes. - Ensure Project Delivery:
Ensure that the project is completed within the specified scope, cost, and timeline, while meeting the business requirements and contractual obligations. - Apply Project Management Methodologies:
Apply experience with project management methodologies and tools to ensure effective project plan execution and successful project outcomes.
Bachelor's Degree
Required Technical And Professional Expertise- Project Management Methodologies:
Exposure to project management methodologies and tools to establish effective communication plans and ensure successful project outcomes. - Cross‑Functional Team Leadership:
Experience working with cross‑functional project teams, including internal employees, clients, and 3rd‑party vendors, to deliver custom development solutions or manage application maintenance and support. - Project Planning and Execution:
Exposure to managing project plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements to ensure effective resource allocation and project plan execution. - Stakeholder Communication:
Experience with establishing effective communication plans to deliver regular project status updates to stakeholders. - Scope and Timeline Management:
Exposure to ensuring projects are completed within specified scope, cost, and timeline, while meeting business requirements and contractual obligations.
- Migration delivery experience
- Project Management Tools:
Exposure to various project management tools to support effective project plan execution and successful project outcomes. - Agile Methodologies:
Experience working with agile methodologies to deliver custom development solutions or manage application maintenance and support. - IT Service Management:
Exposure to IT service management principles to ensure alignment with business requirements and contractual obligations.
