Branch Manager

Hours:

44 per week, permanent, Monday‑Friday 7 am – 4:30 pm, Saturdays 8 am – 12 pm on rotating schedule.

Salary: £31,204 basic per year, total earning potential up to £41,188 per year.

Base:

• Lead their branch and use team‑management skills to develop a small team.
• Ensure the branch operates as effectively as possible.
• Develop relationships with customers to enhance sales and customer experience.
• Manage day‑to‑day branch operations and staff to deliver excellence.
• Manage team absences and deployment.
• Support regional teams with recruitment.
• Provide exceptional customer service and operational standards, and ensure branch sales targets are achieved.
• Support training and maintain training records for branch staff.

• Hands‑on, lead‑by‑example management style focused on driving team to reach sales and branch targets.
• Passion, energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets.
• Customer‑focused approach, happy to serve customers and proactively engage with potential future customers.
• Commercial approach to drive sales and maximise margins while ensuring customers walk away happy.
• Good organisational skills, drive and leadership abilities to manage a branch effectively.
• A full and valid driving licence is essential.
• Strong management skills and experience leading a team.
• Experience with in a similar management role ideally in a trade / builders merchant / retail, glazing or uPVC environment would be a distinct advantage.
