Head of Repairs and Maintenance

Our client is looking for an experienced operations leader to head up its Direct Labour / Repairs offering, driving high-quality repairs, damp and mould works, and an outstanding resident experience.

The Role

You'll lead the day-to-day delivery of responsive repairs, ensuring safety, compliance and value for money while building a high-performing, customer-focused team.

What You'll Do

* Lead service operational delivery of housing repairs and damp and mould works across

* Drive performance, KPIs and continuous improvement across direct labour teams

* Own budgets, resourcing and value-for-money outcomes

* Champion an excellent, top-quartile resident experience

* Build strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors and the Board

* Create a first-class service repairs function

What You'll Bring

* Significant experience leading / developing commercial repairs, maintenance or direct labour operations

* Strong technical, financial and people-leadership skills

* Sound knowledge of H&S, CDM and regulatory requirements

* A full driving licence and flexibility to travel
