About the Role

Leicestershire County Council’s successful Adult Learning Service is looking for an experienced manager to lead one of its operational support teams. The postholder will manage administration and operations across venues in the south and east of the county, including Market Harborough, Enderby and Melton Mowbray. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong people skills who can support staff to deliver high-quality customer service.

An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.

About You

To apply for this post, you must be able to evidence in your application how you meet the following criteria

  • BTEC National/NVQ level 3/4 or equivalent in Business Admin/Management of Public Administration or relevant work experience and skill set developed in Business Services, including management of staff, service delivery, and improvement.
  • Experience in performance management to maintain and improve excellent customer service.
  • Recent substantial management experience within a relevant setting, including responsibility for staffing and financial resources.
  • Ability to manage a variety of competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • The ability to analyse, collate and interpret statistical data to manage performance.
  • The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for this post.
