Are you an experienced housing professional who knows how to bring out the best in people and deliver great results for customers?
We’re looking for a Home Moves Manager to lead our Home Moves Team and make sure residents receive an excellent service when they need to move home.
You’ll lead a team responsible for mutual exchanges, managed moves and decants, making sure residents receive the right support throughout what can be a stressful or unsettling time.
With a strong focus on performance, customer experience and continuous improvement, you’ll work closely with colleagues and external partners to find solutions, improve services and make a real difference to our residents.

You’ll lead the day-to-day Home Moves service, supporting your team to deliver great outcomes for residents while driving performance and continuous improvement. Here’s a snapshot:
- Lead and manage the Home Moves Team, setting clear expectations and driving high performance
- Ensure residents receive an effective and customer-focused rehousing service across mutual exchanges, managed moves and decants
- Set and monitor individual and team targets, using performance information to identify opportunities and drive results
- Coach, motivate and develop colleagues through regular appraisals, feedback and personal action plans
- Work with the Head of Home Moves to develop our strategic approach to rehousing and decants
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, Local Authorities and external partners to improve outcomes for residents
- Identify barriers, analyse performance and implement practical improvements to the service
- Keep up to date with legislation, regulation, Welfare Reform and best practice, ensuring the service remains compliant and responsive

What we’re looking for:We’re looking for someone who can bring strong housing knowledge, confident leadership and a genuine commitment to delivering great customer outcomes. You’ll bring:
- Significant experience in housing and/or rehousing, with a strong understanding of decants, tenancy management and relevant legislation
- Proven people management experience, with the ability to motivate, coach and develop high-performing teams
- A strong customer focus, with the ability to adapt services and find solutions for individual customer needs
- Experience of setting and achieving challenging targets, using data and insight to improve performance
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the confidence to work with a wide range of stakeholders
- A track record of leading change, improving services and delivering positive outcomes for customers
