Job Description

Set up and operate CNC turning machines, specifically Mazak lathes, in line with manufacturing plans and procedures
Read, understand, and work with CNC programs and code to support accurate machine setup and operation
Set and manage datums, tooling, tool length, and wear offsets to maintain process control
Ensure quality output through in-process inspection and use of precision measuring equipment
Take responsibility and contribute to maximising machine utilisation as part of a team

Essential Experience

Experience setting and operating CNC Turning machines (at least 2 Axis)
Confident machining precision components within a highly regulated industry (aerospace, rail, nuclear, automotive etc)
Well-versed machining with metals
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work to deadlines in a team-based environment
