CNC Turner

Are you an experienced CNC Turner looking for your next long-term opportunity? Our client is a well-established precision manufacturing business supplying high-quality components into the aerospace industry. Due to continued growth and increased production demand, they are seeking a skilled, reliable CNC Turner with strong experience in setting and operating CNC turning machines, a quality-focused mindset, and the ability to work confidently in a structured manufacturing environment.

Permanent

£22.20 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance) = £53,564.16 per annum

6pm - 6am, Monday-Thursday (nights)

Leicester

• Set up and operate CNC turning machines, specifically Mazak lathes, in line with manufacturing plans and procedures.
• Read, understand, and work with CNC programs and code to support accurate machine setup and operation.
• Set and manage datums, tooling, tool length, and wear offsets to maintain process control.
• Ensure quality output through in-process inspection and use of precision measuring equipment.
• Take responsibility and contribute to maximising machine utilisation as part of a team.

• Experience setting and operating CNC Turning machines (at least 2 Axis).
• Confident machining precision components within a highly regulated industry (aerospace, rail, nuclear, automotive etc).
• Well-versed machining with metals.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work to deadlines in a team-based environment.
