About the Role

Our client is looking to recruit a Semi‑Skilled Bench Hand Joiner to support the manufacture and assembly of high‑quality timber products within a busy workshop environment. This role is ideal for a joiner with hands‑on workshop experience who is confident using hand and power tools and is looking to further develop their skills within a professional joinery operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the manufacture and assembly of timber products at the bench
  • Using hand and power tools to cut, shape, and finish joinery components
  • Working from basic drawings, job sheets, and measurements
  • Sanding, trimming, and preparing components for finishing or assembly
  • Supporting skilled joiners with day‑to‑day bench work
  • Ensuring work is completed to quality standards and specifications
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times
About You
  • Previous experience in a joinery or woodworking workshop desirable
  • Confident using hand tools and basic power tools
  • Good attention to detail and quality
  • Able to follow instructions and work from measurements
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
